What Spoonlet does

Spoonlet records food and estimates protein and fiber from the stated food source, portion or your label. Food preparation, brands and serving sizes vary. Check entries and use the information on your own packaging where appropriate. Spoonlet does not diagnose, treat, or provide individualized medical or dietary advice. Check with a doctor before making medical decisions or changing a diet prescribed for a health condition.

Free tracking and optional Plus

Everyday food tracking is free. Optional Plus adds detailed reports, PDF summaries, meal organization and extra appearances. Store prices, billing periods and availability are displayed before purchase. Annual subscriptions renew unless canceled through the relevant store. A lifetime purchase is a one-time unlock of Plus in Spoonlet, with no recurring payment.

Apple or Google handles purchases, cancellation and refunds under the applicable store terms and consumer rights. Deleting the app or erasing the diary does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases uses the account and store through which access was purchased.

For Apple purchases, payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Cancel yearly access at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal; renewal is charged within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings.

Your records

You are responsible for checking the food and portions you record. Keep an exported backup before changing devices or uninstalling. Spoonlet’s recovery copy is a local safeguard, not an off-device backup service. We cannot recover a diary that existed only on a lost or erased device.

Using the app

Use Spoonlet lawfully and do not interfere with the app or its purchase systems. Third-party food and service information is identified by source. We may update the app and these terms as the service evolves, subject to applicable rights and notice requirements.

Applicable store license

For the iOS app, the Apple standard end-user license agreement also applies. For Google Play, applicable Google Play terms apply. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
